The load category of the transmission system is the basic basis for selecting the type of Curved-tooth Gear Coupling. For the working load with large impact, vibration and torque changes, the flexible Curved-tooth Gear Coupling with elastic elements should be selected to cushion, reduce vibration and compensate the axis offset, and the working performance of the transmission system. The torque during frequent starting, positive and reverse rotation, and braking is several times of the torque during normal balanced operation. It is overload operation, which will inevitably shorten the service life of the elastic elements of the Curved-tooth Gear Coupling. The Curved-tooth Gear Coupling can only be overloaded for a short time. Generally, the short time load shall not exceed 2~3 times of the nominal torque.
The selection of Curved-tooth Gear Coupling is very important, and the selection of proper Curved-tooth Gear Coupling can improve its working efficiency. The power of the power machine is one of the main bases for determining the size of the Curved-tooth Gear Coupling, and is proportional to the torque of the Curved-tooth Gear Coupling. From the power machine to work, the main and driven ends are connected by one or several Curved-tooth Gear Couplings of different varieties or different types and specifications to form a shafting transmission system. Due to the different working principles and structures of power machines, their mechanical characteristics vary greatly. Some operate smoothly and some have impact during operation, which has different effects on the transmission system.

In mechanical transmission, power machine is nothing more than electric motor, internal combustion engine and steam turbine. The Curved-tooth Gear Coupling is widely used in the shafting transmission of various mechanical devices, and sometimes some problems may occur during its use. Due to various reasons, the center of mass or inertia axis of the Curved-tooth Gear Coupling does not coincide with its axis of acceleration, which will produce unbalanced centrifugal inertia force, centrifugal inertia couple force and dynamic deflection during operation, which is called rotor unbalance. This unbalance phenomenon will inevitably cause shaft vibration, thus affecting the normal operation and service life of the machine, so we should pay attention to it.
In order to correct or reduce the unbalance of the Curved-tooth Gear Coupling to a large extent, the appropriate balance level should be selected according to the needs, and after the completion of product manufacturing and installation on the machine, on the specified balance (correction) plane of the Curved-tooth Gear Coupling, the balance level requirements should be met by adding or reducing the appropriate quality. This process is called balance correction. We are often used for balancing operation of a specific given rotor. The latter is used to measure the balance of the rotor or to detect the balance accuracy, which needs to be accurately carried out during the balance correction process.
