Cone coupling is a specially designed mechanical transmission device, whose core feature is the use of conical contact surfaces to achieve connection and power transmission between shafts. This type of coupling plays an important role in modern industrial machinery by achieving high-precision alignment and high torque transmission efficiency through precise conical fitting.

Compared with traditional straight shaft couplings, tapered couplings have significant advantages. The basic structure of a conical coupling consists of two main parts: an inner cone sleeve and an outer cone sleeve. The two components are connected through precise fitting of the conical surface.

The working principle is based on the frictional force generated by the conical fit to transmit torque. When two conical surfaces are tightly fitted, the axial force will press the inner and outer sleeves tightly together, generating a huge frictional force on the contact surface, thereby achieving torque transmission. This design enables the coupling to automatically align and compensate for axial, radial, and angular deviations to a certain extent.

Rigid cone coupling: Provides extremely high torsional stiffness and positioning accuracy, suitable for applications that require strict synchronization.
Elastic cone coupling: Adding elastic elements to the cone connection can absorb vibration and impact, protecting the transmission system.
